워크숍 개요
필코가 가진 학습자를 위한 세 가지 핵심목표는 다음과 같습니다.
글로 표현하기
많은 아이들은 글을 쓰는 활동을 ‘지루하게’ 느끼지만, 그것은 자기 표현의 근본적인 방법 중 하나이며 사고의 자연스러운 확장입니다. 워크숍에서 아이들은 다양한 형태(시, 관찰, 편지 등)의 글쓰기를 탐색하고 이야기와 아이디어를 시각화하고 계획하며 브레인스토밍하고 수정하여 글로 쓴 작품으로 만드는 방법을 배웁니다.
편하게 말하기
아이들은 협동적으로 배우고 결말이 없는놀이 및 학습을 통해 또래와 선생님들과 의사소통하기 위해 영어를 사용하는 것에 대한 자신감을 기를 겁니다. 우리는 생활속에서의 경험과 이야기를 공유함으로써 영어 회화에 대한 장벽을 낮추고, 서로 대화를 하기 위해 소설과 비소설의 큐레이션 셀렉션을 사용합니다.

아이들은 다른 사람과 함께 글을 쓰고 창작하는 과정을 통해 자신만의 스타일과 정체성을 탐구할 것입니다. 저희는 다름의 가치를 높게 보고 아이의 목소리가 선명해지며 그들의 마음이 자유롭게 달리는 안전하고 즐거운 공간을 만들기 위해 노력합니다.
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
There are three core goals for every learner at Pilco Workshops,
Write to express
Many children struggle with writing and call it "boring", yet it is one of the fundamental methods of human expression and a natural extension of thinking. At the workshop children will explore writing in its many forms (poetry, narratives, short stories, and so much more), and learn to visualise, plan, brainstorm and revise stories and ideas, turning them into written works.
Speak with ease
Children will learn collaboratively and develop their confidence in using English to communicate with their peers and teachers through playful learning. We encourage opinion forming and conversation making via podcast sessions, where children share ideas and thoughts with each other. We also support reading fluency and motivation through Readers Theatre workshops.
"Be yourself"
Children will explore their own style and identity through the process of writing and creating with others. We celebrate differences and are committed to creating a safe and joyful space where the child's voices are heard and their minds run free.

In addition to creative activities, our workshops will explore the science and wonders of the world around us. The core experience at Pilco is hands-on learning and we believe that children thrive in experiences that allow them to participate in their own learning.
Pilco Studio is located in Jeoji Village, 3 minute walk from the Jeju Contemporary Art Museum. We are surrounded by beautiful forest trails and Jeju nature and our workshop provide a safe and supportive space for children to explore and learn, while having fun and making new friends.

필코스튜디오는 제주현대미술관에서 도보로 3분 거리, 저지마을에 위치하고 있습니다. 아름다운 숲길과 제주의 자연으로 둘러싸여 있는 필코의 공간은 아이들이 새로운 친구들과 어울려 다양한 활동을 경험할 수 있는 안전한 환경을 제공합니다.
